Description	Researching breast augmentation prior to having surgery can be overwhelming. Your consultation with Dr. Yee is a significant step in the decision-making process. You and Dr. Yee will discuss the look you desire and the optimal way to achieve the best results. During your consultation, she will take the time to discuss your goals and review the options available to you when considering breast augmentation. Those choices include size, the incision location, the position of the implant and the type. We offer both silicone and saline implants. Dr. Yee will offer her expertise to help guide your decision. Breast augmentation surgery is done using general anesthesia on an outpatient basis at our surgical suite.
Recovery	Breast augmentation surgery is safe when performed by an experienced, board-certified plastic surgeon such as Dr. Yee. However, to enhance your recovery, it is important to follow the postoperative instructions you’ll receive. You should be able to walk under your own power before leaving our facility. It is normal to feel pain and tightness in your chest for 2 to 5 days after surgery. Every patient tolerates pain differently, and we will ensure your comfort during recovery. Many patients return to work about a week after surgery, although strenuous physical activity should be avoided for several weeks. Also, getting up and moving around throughout the recovery is important.
