The American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS)
Dr. Baker and Dr. Yee are diplomates of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. The mission of the ABPS is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious Plastic Surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification and recertification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists.
The American Board of Surgery (ABS)
Dr. Baker is a diplomate of The American Board of Surgery, an independent, non-profit organization that certifies surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training and knowledge. Surgeons certified by the ABS, known as diplomates, have completed a minimum of five years of surgical residency training following medical school and successfully completed a written and oral examination process administered by the ABS.
American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS)
Dr. Baker and Dr. Yee are active members of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. The ASPS was established over 75 years ago and is the largest Plastic Surgery specialty organization in the world. ASPS Member Surgeons have more than six years of surgical training and experience, with at least three years specifically in Plastic Surgery.
American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS)
Dr. Baker and Dr. Yee are members of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, an organization of board-certified plastic surgeons specializing in cosmetic Plastic Surgery. With over 2,500 members in the United States, Canada, and other parts of the world, ASAPS is dedicated to advancing the science, art, and safe practice of aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
American College of Surgeons (ACS)
Dr. Baker is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a scientific and educational association of surgeons that was founded in 1913 to improve the quality of care for the surgical patient by setting high standards for surgical education and practice.
